The Clock Struck Twelve

And just like that, it was time.

Time to ring out the old and bring in the new.
Time to start writing dates that end with a different digit.
Time to say goodbye to another year gone by (and such a good one it was).

Time to welcome a new day...
a new dawn...
and the rest of your same old life.

How did one second change so much?
