Sand In My Shoes
Beach holiday, oh beach holiday. I've been wanting for... well, a long time. So did I spend the past week away on a beach holiday?
No.
I did watch The Holiday, which was a nice, sweet film (I cried a little but I cry at children's movies too). Then spent most of the week away travelling around on business.
It so happened one of my stop-overs was at a little seaside town on the east coast. So even though I wasn't on holiday, I did get a beach. Not a great beach, but still one takes what one gets.
Mud and rocks. So much for beach.
This is making me want a real holiday. On a nice beach. Or even up in the mountains. Under the stars.
Who's coming?
Who's coming?

the photos are good. i can feel them... as weird as that sounds.
anyway, nice feet.
Those photos are good, I like the token seashell pic with the shallow depth of field. Great composition on the photos of you and your feet too (but who took the first one? or is it not of you?)
Hey, those were really pro pics that u took, ur gonna hafta teach me one fine day...
Looks like an awesome trip. Where to?
If that's you in the photo... then who's behind the camera?
Lovely photos as always, weeshiong. But I can't find the bloody crab :-(
hmm.... i think at the moment, i could relate to your last three pics the most....
hmm....
wish "IS" were here....--->*
totally get it.

You sweet romantic man .... but Jay is right. Exactly who is taking the pics?

Ooook. Nice piccy. But.. who are you wishing was there?

NICE PICCIES!!! i'd love a beach holiday too! Man, 630?! siao ah?!
Just so like YOU to have some pretty words accompanying the pretty pics :)
and, NO. I'm not doing the RM8888.88 photo studio set. those are for suckerssssssssssssss :)
I still got sand in my shoes
And I can't shake the thought of you
Crab took the photo? Great shots, would love a long holiday ourselves.
I have not felt the sand between my toes for 2 years.
I'm not expecting like, some African Godzilla Monster Crab-type species, but if Stephen is right and that slight discolouration in the sand is the ruddy crustacean you were expecting us to spot... I'm going to be very disappointed.
Often times looking at pictures make song lyrics pop in my head.
Your very nice pictures brought this on...
"Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise"
loopy:
LOL. Maybe it's just too much static on your screen :P
And thanks. I think that's the first time anyone's complimented my feet!
Stephen:
Actually I like the seashell pic too. Simply because it's the only one here that didn't require any touching up at all :)
And yes, it's there. Convenient, no?
mARCus:
It's simple, really. You have a digital camera? Then just take a few hundred shots in one location. You're bound to have at least a few that are good enough (especially after putting them through an image editor).
;-)
Sam:
It was just a pleasant distraction from work. And it's in the only town of note on the east coast of our home state.
Jay:
Well that IS me in the photo. I was behind the camera too... about ten seconds before it snapped the pic.
And yes, Stephen did find the crab and it really is that slight discolouration in the sand :P If you're disappointed... TOO BAD! But I'll add in another pic of Mr. Crabby - the one who actually sat there and posed for the camera!
Xavier:
"IS" huh?
Paul:
Ever heard of timer control? No? Well, the crab took the picture then :P
pakcik:
Sure can. Bring JY along, why don't ya? :-)
Ban:
Hmmm... never you mind ;-)
danielhenry:
We should just bring the beach to KL. Oh wait... they already did that, didn't they? Not quite the same...
Geekchic:
Yes, but as you can see, this is no studio package. Probably more expensive to do the "out of studio" package.
Hey I got an idea... you guys should just put on your pyjamas and ask a friend to take pics of you two instead. That will be something we definitely have not seen :P
thompsonboy:
I... wanna see you again...
:-)
Janvier:
Hello! Nice to meet a blogger who refers to himself (themselves) in the plural :D
William:
Is it? Next time I bring some back for you, OK?
Spot:
Ok I have to confess I don't know that one. Yes, I googled it. I don't really know too many Beatles songs :P
I really do like that song. Play it everytime I came back home from holiday esp those sandy and watery ones.
Try to forget for one more night
That I'm back in my flat on the road
Where the cars never stop going through the night
To real life where I can't watch sunset
I don't have time
I don't have time
SIGH.
there is a "IS" in my mind now ma.... :)

Sun, sand, sea & serenity!
It's Paradise :)
Do I win a prize for spotting the crab?
:)
